В Генеральном консульстве Узбекистана в Дубае прошла встреча с представителями медиасообщества

On July 19, the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dubai in cooperation with the State Committee for Tourism Development organized a meeting with bloggers, representatives of the media community, activists of the Uzbek diaspora living in the UAE. Aliheydar Rizayev the editor-in-chief of the “Abudhabitiming” magazine, the Miss Europe Tourism title holder Lenka Yosefiova, the blogger from Ukraine Igor Sergeev, the “Mr. Dubai 2019” title holder Maruf Azimov, Nilufar Yuldasheva and Shirin Van Dort attended to the meeting. In his welcoming speech, Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Dubai Alisher Salomov mentioned about the changes taking place in the Uzbekistan, mainly in the tourism industry and invited bloggers to provide more detailed coverage of events as well as tell foreign youth living in the UAE about the historical and cultural heritage, achievements and open policy of Uzbekistan, aiming at information content and efficiency and reach the broad masses as large as possible through social networks. Consul also noted the significant role of bloggers in covering the reforms being carried out in the country, promoting the culture and historical heritage of the people of Uzbekistan. During the meeting, each of the bloggers "in a nutshell" talked about their reputation, how they got to Dubai, how many years they have been working in the media sphere and also shared their thoughts and ideas regarding the promotion of topics in social networks related to Uzbekistan. One of the local bloggers, Gulnara Mukhedinova, fashion designer, owner of the fashion house "Gulnarbaravia" said about the cultural traditions in her family in terms of the choice of a pastime and that her children chose Uzbekistan during their holidays, preferring her homeland to others tropical countries and regions, truly considering our country a real paradise on Earth. Alisher Salomov expressed gratitude to all bloggers for their positive response and willingness to cooperate in the good cause of presenting Uzbekistan not only to the residents of the UAE, but also to a wide audience. The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development expresses special thanks to the representatives of the Consulate General in Dubai, as well as to Maruf Azimov for initiating this meeting.
