Birlashgan Arab Amirliklari fuqarolarining mamlakatga kirish tartibini yanada soddalashtirish chora-tadbirlari

On December 28, 2019 the amendment to the Decree “On measures to further simplify the entry procedures for citizens of the United Arab Emirates" was signed by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev. The document says that the amendment is aimed to further strengthen the potential attraction of foreign investments to Uzbekistan, as well as to attract investors based in UAE.

The Decree was amended:

1.  with the words "as well as citizens of foreign countries who have received the status of resident of the United Arab Emirates" after the words "citizens of the United Arab Emirates".  Paragraph 1 is stated in the following way:

2.  “1. 30 days’ visa-free entry regime is established for citizens of the United Arab Emirates from March 20, 2019, as well as for foreign citizens who have become a resident of the United Arab Emirates, effective January 1, 2020.

Foreign nationals, who have become UAE resident, must hold a residence permit valid for at least 90 days prior to entry to Uzbekistan.
