The procedure for registration in foreign institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan
In accordance with paragraphs 51 and 52 of Annex 1 to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan UP-4262 of 05.01.2011. "On additional measures to improve the passport system of the Republic of Uzbekistan":
- Citizens who have left the country for permanent residence abroad, as well as those temporarily abroad, are registered for permanent or temporary consular registration in the consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad.
- Citizens who have gone abroad for permanent residence and who have been sent abroad for permanent residence in the prescribed manner are registered for permanent consular registration.
Citizens who are temporarily abroad and are not registered for permanent or temporary consular registration in the consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad, in case of loss of a passport, its damage or expiration, apply to the consular office of the Republic of Uzbekistan to obtain a certificate of return to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In order to get on consular registration in the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in foreign countries it is necessary to submit the following documents to the Consular Section of the Embassy:
- the original passport of a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan + a copy of the passport (with information on registration-discharge from the Republic of Uzbekistan);
- Copy and original of the address list of departure from the Republic of Uzbekistan (only for citizens who left for permanent residence in the CIS countries);
- certificate of residence or registration in the country of residence;
- photo - 1 pc. 3x4 cm;
- consular fees for consular registration;
- completed electronic registration card;
Note: Consular registration is made within 1 business day.
