The National Park of Uzbekistan will become a mirror of our spirituality
On January 11, 2020, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Alisher Navoi National Park of Uzbekistan.
In accordance with the resolution of the Head of the state, signed on April 18, 2017, in order to perpetuate the memory of outstanding masters of pen who left a bright trace in the spiritual life of our nation, to boost the cultural and enlightenment level of youth, the Alley of Litterateurs is being established in the territory of the National Park.
A relevant project devised has provided for the creation of an architectural ensemble, whereby the Alley of Litterateurs will harmoniously combine with the Alisher Navoi Statue. More than 8 hectares of land is planned to be landscaped and the monument of the great poet be reinstalled.
The Head of the state gave instructions on the design of the dome over the Alisher Navoi Statue and on the improvement of the surrounding territory.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the work carried out here, with designs of monuments. The President recommended to install tablets and audio speakers next to the statues to provide visitors with brief information about a particular writer or poet, to create additional conditions for holding events here dedicated to the life and activity of writers.
The plans also include the reconstruction of the building of the former Exhibition Hall of Culture and Arts of Uzbekistan and the establishment of Tashkent Museum in it. The Head of the state got acquainted with the draft concept of the collection and shared his thoughts on the organization of its meaningful content.
“The history of Tashkent, the legacy of its scientists have yet to be studied profoundly. This museum should become a place where guests, especially the young people, will be able to get science-backed facts about the glorious past of the city”, the President said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed to set up the museum in the form of a branch of the State Museum of History of Uzbekistan, to attract qualified academic staff, to equip the venue with cutting-edge information technologies.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with the reconstruction of Alisher Navoi National Park of Uzbekistan.
Construction of a modern park of culture and recreation continues. The project is implemented in two stages in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of September 4, 2017.
At the first stage, an aquarium, an amphitheater, a cinema, a playground, a fairy-tale-style castle, a musical fountain and a parking lot will be erected on an area of 9 hectares. The second stage involves the construction of a theme park, a children’s circuit, rides and aqua park, which will occupy a total of 12 hectares.
In addition, cafes, restaurants and shops will be opened, chestnut trees, pine trees, Japanese sophora, magnolias, oak, birch and other trees will be planted.
After the completion of modernization, the park will be able to serve up to 10 thousand people a day. Along with providing meaningful leisure for the population, this place of culture and entertainment will increase the tourist attractiveness of the capital.
The Head of the state gave instructions on establishing year-round activities of the park, creating broad conditions for family vacations. The importance of installing mockups of historical monuments of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and other cities was emphasized, which will help to increase the interest of young people and foreign guests in the history of the country.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the People’s Reception Office of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent.
The system of dialogue with people, which forms the basis of the policy pursued by the Head of the state, ensures the interests of the population, strengthens its confidence in the future and confidence in the state.
Recently in the capital (Bunyodkor str., 2) the building of the new People’s Reception Office was commissioned. Here, all conditions are created for dialogue with people, reception, consideration and resolution of citizens’ appeals. There are rooms for reception by responsible persons, a branch of the Center for Public Services, a consulting bureau of the non-governmental non-profit organization “Madad”, a medical center, a room for mother and child. Taking into account the large population of Tashkent, the work of the departments is organized by sector. The institution can serve up to 200 visitors per day.
The Head of the state praised the conditions created in the People’s Reception Office.
“Everyone who comes here must find the answer to all questions. Tashkent should be a model in this”, the President said.
