Uzbekistan and the United States are full partners in the fight against the spread of dangerous nuclear, biological, chemical and radiological materials on the basis of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of defense and prevention of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

Radiation portal monitors are widely used to detect and prevent illicit trafficking of radioactive materials in vehicles, luggage, as well as in pedestrians moving through border customs posts, and also serve to increase efficiency in this area.

It is expected to transfer the same equipment to the customs post of foreign economic activity "River port".
